Dr. Michael Licona (Houston Baptist University) and Dr. Lawrence Shapiro (University of Wisconsin) had a discussion at OSU on the plausibility of the Resurrection. Is Jesus’ resurrection just a fairy tale, or are there good reasons to believe that God raised Jesus from the dead? About one thousand folks attended the event, and heard a profitable discussion. We were glad to give a platform to a Christian scholar (Dr. Licona) that is also an expert on the historical defense of Jesus’ resurrection. We know there were many in the audience that came to the event in disbelief, but they surely encountered that dismissing Jesus’ resurrection as a fairy tale is not easy to do. There are very good reasons to believe.
